For the past 7 years the ELE League Open Summer 5Aside Cup has proved to be a great success, with all team’s guaranteed 3 games and run to time without fail. 

Open to all teams from all areas the Open Summer 5's is one of the favourite 5Aside events out there.

ELE OPEN SUMMER 5 RULES

• Max of the 8 registered players in a team
• No player from a squad of 8 can be replaced.
• No player can play for two teams.
• Any players found to be over age = Automatic team ban.
• Groups of 4 teams will play 8 minutes straight through.
• Groups of 5 teams will play 7 minutes straight through.
• 3 rolling subs.
• All free kicks are direct.
• Over head height is allowed.
• Players are allowed in the goal keeper’s area.
• Pass back to goal keeper is allowed as long as the ball is touched by two players.
• Goal keepers are not allowed to kick the ball.
• Goal keepers are to roll out the ball underarm.
• Goal Keepers are not allowed out of their area.
• All throw’s and corners are to be rolled in underarm.
• Three yellow cards throughout the day = Automatic ban from event.
• Red Card = Automatic ban from event.
• Winning team to take the result card to the check in area.
• If two teams are equal on points to progress to the KO stages, the team with the best goal difference will go through, if the results is still equal it will be the winner of both teams group game, thirdly, goals for and finally penalty shoot out.
•  KO stage: If both teams are equal at full time an additional 3 minutes will be played straight through. If both teams are level after extra time the game will go to a penalty shoot out x 3 then sudden death.
